Linda Sue Buchli was born in Pocatello and moved to Southern California at a very young age. She returned to Idaho after her high school graduation, in Mission Viejo, California and has been here ever since.

Linda has had an interest in art since her early teens and has been painting for about 30 years. Over the years, she has taken workshops from numerous professional artists such as Ken Spencer, Torgesen Murdock and currently with Karen Wardle.

Returning to Idaho has inspired Linda as an artist. She loves the seasons and the outdoors. Being outdoors gives an artist the opportunity to really “look and see” the beauty that surrounds us. Linda enjoys many outdoor activities and is constantly looking for her next subject to portray on canvas.

Linda’s first love is painting landscapes. She has discovered painting old tractors, trucks, cars and dogs have become a passion. Linda paints strictly in oils because she strives for the rich vibrant colors one can achieve. She appreciates nature and finds it a challenge to translate that beauty to a canvas for others to enjoy.
